Requirements for the digitization of intangible cultural heritage in Egyptian society

Abstract

Study problem:
The intangible cultural heritage of human societies of all 
kinds and locations is one of the most important axes of the 
issue of preserving and sustaining human heritage, and in the 
light of the communications and information revolution, the 
intangible cultural heritage of human groups was associated 
with the outputs of this revolution and tried to interact with it 
and benefit from its achievements.
The digitization of intangible cultural heritage is one of the 
new developments in the light of technological and 
Information Development to preserve the cultural heritage of 
nations and peoples as well as their human identity.
There are many requirements that must be fully or partially 
met to achieve the digitization of intangible cultural heritage 
in Egyptian society.
Study objectives:
The present study seeks to conceptualize a proposal for the 
requirements of digitizing intangible cultural heritage in 
Egyptian society.
Study questions:
In light of the objectives of the study, its questions were 
identified in the main question: What are the requirements for 
digitizing the Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Egyptian 
society, where these proposed requirements will be divided 
into legislative, technical, administrative, technological, 
institutional, community, financing.
Study results:
The studies provide a proposed vision of the requirements of 
digitizing intangible cultural heritage in Egyptian society.
